Out of stock items

When you run out of something, switch it off in Quick Changes. It comes off your POS, kiosk, website and app, and off Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat if they're connected through Delivery Platforms. You can switch it off until you turn it back on, or for a set number of days.

Back Office

Select the store that has run out in the store switcher, then go to Management > Menu > Quick Changes.

Note: With a store selected, the change only affects that store. With All Stores selected, it affects every store on your company menu.

Disabling Products

Search for the product or size, for example Margherita or 14".
Turn off the Enabled switch on the row. To switch it off for a while, click 1 day, 3 days or 7 days in the Disable for column instead. The row shows when it will come back.
Click Save Changes.

To bring an item back early, click Clear in the Disable for column, or turn Enabled back on, and save.

Disabling Option Values (Toppings)

Open Options (toppings, extras, sauces), or search for the topping, for example Mushrooms.
Turn off the Enabled switch on the choice, or click a Disable for preset.
Click Save Changes.

The topping can't be picked on any item until you switch it back on.

Drinks and other choices used in several meals

The same drink is often a choice in several option groups, for example Meal drink, Box meal drink and Wings drink. You only need to switch it off once:

Switch off the choice in any group. Every choice with the same name in your other option groups goes off with it. The row shows where else it is, for example Also in Box meal drink, Wings drink.
Or switch off the drink itself in the product list. If your menu links meal choices to that drink, they go off too, whatever they are called in the meal. The row shows how many, for example Also switches 3 linked choices.

Timed switch-offs (1 day, 3 days, 7 days) and switching back on work the same way. Check the rows before you click Save Changes: if one of them shouldn't change, flip it back.

Note: Choices are matched by name, so keep a drink's name the same in every option group (for example always Coke 330ml). Capitals and extra spaces don't matter.

Disable the Topping at the Product level

To stop offering a topping on one product only (not because you've run out), change the product in Management > Menu > Menu Setup: open the product, click the option group's name and untick Active on that choice. This applies to every store on the menu. See Default and Substitute Toppings.

Delivery apps

Switching an item, size or topping off or on in Quick Changes reaches delivery apps connected through Delivery Platforms within moments, with no menu upload needed. UrbanPiper gets item and size switch-offs too. See Change your menu and update every channel.

Troubleshooting

I can't switch items off at my store. Your company admin controls this. Ask them to turn on Allow Disabling Products in Setup > Menu > Settings.

The item is still showing on the POS. The POS updates once no order is open on it, usually within a minute.
