The steps are still correct, but the interface may look slightly different in the latest version.

Before you start

Ensure your menu is set up and you can see your products in Company : Management > Menu > Menu Setup.

Image requirements
  • File types: JPG/JPEG, PNG, GIF
  • Max file size: 1 MB
  • Recommended dimensions: Square images, 600×600 to 1200×1200 px
Guidance
  • PNG/JPG are preferred for clarity and compression.
  • GIFs are supported on your website; some delivery platforms may not display animation.
  • Use a plain background, centred product, and good lighting.
Prepare your photos (keep each file under 1 MB + optional background removal)

Bulk compress (web, no install):

  • Drag & drop up to 20 images at once: https://tinypng.com/ Tip: If files are still over 1 MB, resize to 800–1200 px on the longest side and try again.

Bulk background removal (web):

  • Automatic cut-outs for multiple images: https://www.remove.bg/ Tip: Export PNG/WebP if you need transparency; use JPG for the smallest size.

Recommended settings:

  • Resize: longest side 1200–1600 px
  • Quality: JPG 75–85% (or “Medium/High”)
  • Strip metadata/EXIF to save extra space
Add or change a product image
  1. Go to Back Office > Management > Menu > Menu Setup.
  2. Expand the relevant Category.
  3. On the product, click the small Upload Image tile (hover to see requirements).
  4. Select your image and click Open.
  5. You’ll see a success message and the image thumbnail will appear on the product.
  6. To replace an image, click Remove, then upload a new one.
Where it appears
  • If you’re using our Online Ordering, the image will show next to the product on your website and app.
  • Images are also sent to connected platforms (Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Just Eat).

Troubleshooting

  • “Upload failed. Please use a smaller image (max 1MB).” Compress the image below 1 MB or reduce its dimensions (e.g., 800×800 px).
  • No image after uploading: Refresh the page. If still missing, ensure the file meets the requirements above.
  • GIF not animating on marketplaces: Some platforms convert images to static JPGs; use PNG/JPG if animation isn’t essential.

Reminder: Keep images under 1 MB and square (600–1200 px) for the best results.
