Running more than one brand or website from one account

You can run several brands from one MyFoodFast account, and give each one its own ordering website. You don't need a second account, a second POS or a second menu. This is often called a virtual brand, or a dark-kitchen brand.

A typical example is a pizza shop that also sells burgers under a different name. Both brands come out of the same kitchen and land on the same POS, but customers see two separate websites.

What each brand gets

  • Its own website, at a free yourbrand.myfoodfast.co.uk address or on your own domain.
  • Its own name, logo, colours and Google listing text. A customer on the brand's website only sees that brand.
  • Its own menu. Choose which of your products the brand sells and, if you want, give them different prices.
  • Its own stores. Choose which of your stores offer the brand, and whether each one offers it for collection, delivery or both.
  • Its own deals. Choose which promos and deals each brand's menu shows.
  • Its own receipts. Orders print with the brand's name, web address and logo.
  • Its own reporting. Every order is tagged with its brand, so you can see each brand's sales on the Operations report.
  • Its own table ordering QR code for each website.

To set one up, follow Setup Guide: Virtual Brands.

What's shared across your brands

Your brands share one kitchen and one account, so some things are set once and apply to all of them.

Store settings

These are set per store and apply to every brand that trades from that store:

  • Opening hours
  • Delivery zones, delivery charges and minimum order
  • Capacity Management. Orders from all your brands count towards the same per-slot limit, because they come out of the same kitchen. You can't set a separate limit for each brand. See Set up Capacity Management.
  • Card payments. Card payments for every brand go into that store's payment account.

A brand can't have its own opening hours or delivery area. If a brand needs different hours, the closest option is to offer it from a different store, or for collection only.

Customers

  • One login works on all your brands. A customer who signs up on one brand's website can sign in on any of your other brands' websites with the same details.
  • Order history includes every brand. When a signed-in customer looks at their past orders, they see orders from all your brands. Each order is labelled by store.
  • Loyalty points are shared. Points earned on one brand can be spent on any of them. See Loyalty program.
  • The first-order welcome offer is used once. A customer's first online order with any of your brands uses up the offer. Their first order on a second brand doesn't get it again. See First-order welcome offer.

Apps and devices

  • Your mobile app shows your main brand. Each account has one branded app, and it uses your Default brand. Extra brands are website-only.
  • Kitchen screens show the dish, not the brand. The kitchen sees products as they are named on your main menu, whichever brand they were ordered through. The POS shows which brand each order came from.
  • The kiosk uses your main brand.

Getting a brand's website address

Email help@myfoodfast.com with the brand name and the address you want. Choose between:

  • A free myfoodfast.co.uk address, such as pizzanow.myfoodfast.co.uk. There's nothing for you to do; we set it up for you.
  • Your own domain, such as order.pizzanow.co.uk. We'll send you the one DNS record to add with your domain provider. See Run your ordering website on your own domain.

We also verify each new address with Apple, so Apple Pay works on the brand's website from the start.

Frequently asked questions

Do I pay for a second account for each brand? No. All your brands run from one account.

Will my staff see the brand on the order? Yes, on the POS. The order shows the brand name, and the receipt prints the brand's details.

Can a customer tell my brands come from the same kitchen? Only if they collect from the same address, or notice that the same login works on both websites. Each website only shows its own brand's name, menu and stores.

Can I see how each brand is performing? Yes. Go to Reports > Sales Reports > Operations and use the Virtual Brand filter. See Reporting on a single virtual brand.
