Start of day MyOrderBox procedures

Follow these steps each morning to prepare your POS for the trading day.

Opening procedure

Turn on the terminal and wait for the POS application to launch
Log in with your staff PIN
Check the cash float — enter the opening float amount when prompted
Verify internet connection — check the status indicator on the POS is showing connected
Check for overnight orders — look at the track screen for any future orders that came in overnight
Ensure the printer is ready — check it's powered on and has paper loaded

You're now ready to take orders!

Tips

If you left the POS running overnight (recommended), it will already be logged in and any future orders will be on the track screen
If the POS was turned off, allow a minute for it to sync after logging in
Check that all printers are working with a test print
