Overview
MyFoodFast POS is available as an app for Windows PCs from the Microsoft Store. It works like the POS on a Sunmi terminal: it prints straight to your network receipt and kitchen printers, so you don't need JSPrintManager. The Store installs updates for you.
You need:
- A 64-bit PC running Windows 11, or Windows 10 version 1809 or newer. A touch screen is ideal but a mouse works too.
- Receipt and kitchen printers connected to the same network as the PC, by network cable or Wi-Fi.
- Your POS terminal's 6-digit pairing PIN and a 4-digit staff PIN from Back Office. Start here: set up MyFoodFast POS shows where to find them.
Note: USB and Bluetooth printers aren't supported in the Windows app. Use a network printer, or connect your existing printer to the network. If you only have a USB printer, or you use a Mac, use the web POS in Chrome instead.
Install the app
- On the PC, open the Microsoft Store app from the Start menu.
- Search for MyFoodFast POS, or open MyFoodFast POS in the Microsoft Store.
- Click Get (or Install). It's free.
- When it's finished, click Open. From then on, start it from the Start menu: type MyFoodFast POS.
Tip: Right-click MyFoodFast POS in the Start menu and choose Pin to taskbar so staff can open it with one click.
Pair and sign in
- The first time it opens, the POS shows Pair this terminal. Type the 6-digit pairing PIN. It pairs by itself after the sixth digit.
- On Enter your PIN, type your 4-digit staff PIN.
- Your menu opens.
Each pairing PIN works once. If it's rejected, click Get new PIN next to the POS in Setup > In-Store > POS Terminals in Back Office.
Connect your printers
- Switch your printers on and check they're on the same network as the PC.
- On the POS, click the gear at the right of the header, then Printers.
- Click Discover printers. The POS searches your network and lists the printers it finds, usually within a few seconds.
- Pick a printer for each card: Customer receipts, plus Kitchen or Dispatch if you use them.
- Click Test print on each card and check a page comes out.
If your printer isn't listed, click Enter IP manually and type the printer's IP address. You can usually print it from the printer itself: hold the feed button while you switch it on.

Card payments
Use a WisePOS E countertop reader. It connects over the internet, so it works with the Windows app. See Take card payments with a WisePOS E.
The WisePad 3 Bluetooth reader only works on Sunmi and Android terminals.
Updates
The Microsoft Store updates MyFoodFast POS automatically. Your pairing and printer settings are kept between updates. To check for an update now, open the Microsoft Store, click Downloads (or Library), then Get updates.
Switching from the web POS and JSPrintManager
- Install the Windows app and pair it with the same POS terminal you used in the browser. Get a new PIN for it under Setup > In-Store > POS Terminals.
- Set up your printers in the app as above. Printers that were only connected by USB need moving onto the network first.
- Close the web POS tab, so the same orders aren't printed twice.
- Once everything prints from the app, you can uninstall JSPrintManager from Settings > Apps in Windows.
Warning: Don't leave the web POS open in a browser on another computer for the same store while it's set to print kitchen tickets. Each one prints its own copy of every order.
If something goes wrong
Discover printers finds nothing Check the printer is switched on and on the same network as the PC. A PC on guest Wi-Fi often can't see printers on the main network. Try Enter IP manually with the printer's address.
A printer card says Unreachable The POS can't reach that IP address. Check the printer's address hasn't changed, then pick it again with Discover printers. Your router can give the printer a fixed address so it doesn't change.
A ticket didn't print Open Print history at the top right of Printers. Tickets that didn't reach a printer show there, and Retry this printer sends them to the printer that's set now.
