How do I sync my menu with LivePepper?
MyFoodFast acts as the Master menu management system, so all changes are done in MyFoodFast and then pushed to the relevant site.
After you have amended your menu as you would like then follow the guide below to send it to LivePepper.
Note this does not update your menu in LivePepper but rewrites your menu again with a fresh copy of your menu from MyFoodFast
Prerequisites
- Go to App Store > All > API add on > Subscribe
Back Office
- Go to Management > Menu > Menu Setup and click Send to delivery apps at the top of the page. This sends your menu to every delivery platform you've connected.
- Or go to Setup > Integrations > Delivery Platforms and click Upload Catalog (with a store selected), or Upload next to a brand under Menu Links (Virtual Brands).
- After a minute or so you receive an email stating whether the upload was successful.
- Check the email:
- If the subject line says [Store Name] - Upload catalog - Failed, the body of the email explains why. Fix those items in your menu, then send again.
- If the subject line says [Store Name] - Upload catalog - Successful, carry on with the steps below.
LivePepper
- Now go to the LivePepper Manager, then Settings > Add-ons, and open the delivery platforms add-on.
- You will see a Catalog id. Check it matches the Catalog Id in your upload email.
- Select Import from the menu panel, you will then be prompted for your LivePepper password with text "Your existing products are going to be removed. Enter your password to confirm." Enter it and confirm the import
- After a few seconds, you should now see your menu updated on your LivePepper site.
