Setting the correct timezone ensures that order timestamps, reports, and opening hours display the right local time on both the Back Office and the POS.
Update your store timezone
- Log in to the Back Office.
- Navigate to Setup > POS > Localisation.
- Open the Timezone dropdown and select the correct timezone for your store location.
- Click Update to save.
Sync the change to the POS
- Open MyOrderBox POS on your terminal.
- Go to Settings > Sync.
- Wait for the sync to complete.
The POS will now use the updated timezone for all orders and reports.
What the timezone setting affects
- Order timestamps -- the time printed on receipts and shown in the order history.
- Opening hours -- the hours your online ordering site is available to customers.
- Sales reports -- daily report cut-off times in the Back Office.
- Scheduled orders -- pre-orders and future collection/delivery time slots.
Note: If you manage multiple stores in different regions, set the timezone individually for each store. Navigate to the relevant store in the Back Office before changing the timezone setting.
