How do I manage the Timezone?

Last verified: 2026-03-06

Setting the correct timezone ensures that order timestamps, reports, and opening hours display the right local time on both the Back Office and the POS.

Update your store timezone

  1. Log in to the Back Office.
  2. Navigate to Setup > POS > Localisation.
  3. Open the Timezone dropdown and select the correct timezone for your store location.
  4. Click Update to save.

Sync the change to the POS

  1. Open MyOrderBox POS on your terminal.
  2. Go to Settings > Sync.
  3. Wait for the sync to complete.

The POS will now use the updated timezone for all orders and reports.

What the timezone setting affects

  • Order timestamps -- the time printed on receipts and shown in the order history.
  • Opening hours -- the hours your online ordering site is available to customers.
  • Sales reports -- daily report cut-off times in the Back Office.
  • Scheduled orders -- pre-orders and future collection/delivery time slots.

Note: If you manage multiple stores in different regions, set the timezone individually for each store. Navigate to the relevant store in the Back Office before changing the timezone setting.
