Before you start
Make sure you have setup your Promos here > Company: Management > Menu > Promos and Deals > Promo Type
Find a deal
Go to Management > Menu > Promos & Deals. Each row shows what the customer gets (for example "3 items for £24.99" or "10% off orders over £25"), when the deal runs, where it runs, and how many times it was used in the last 30 days.
- Type in the search box to find a deal by its name, description, tags, ID, or any product in it. Press / to jump to the search box.
- Use the status buttons to show only Live, Scheduled, Paused or Expired deals. Each button shows how many deals it holds.
- Use All types, All channels and All order types to narrow the list further, for example to deals that run on the website for delivery.
- Click a column heading such as Deal, Status or Uses, 30 days to sort by it. Click it again to reverse the order.
If your Store uses a Company menu, pick a brand from Virtual Brand above the list, or choose All brands to see every deal your Store has added for any brand. In All brands, each deal shows the brand it belongs to.
Note: A deal marked No brand, not shown to customers isn't linked to any brand, so customers never get it. These are usually old deals. New deals you add while All brands is selected go to your default brand.
Your search and filters stay in place when you save a deal, and you can bookmark or share the page address to come back to the same view.
Note: Expired means the deal is switched on but its end date has passed, so customers can't use it. Clear or move the End Date to bring it back.
Switch a deal on or off
Use the switch in the Status column. A paused deal is hidden from customers on every channel until you switch it back on.
Copy a deal
- Click the ... button at the end of the deal's row.
- Choose Duplicate.
The copy is called "Copy of" followed by the original name, has the same product groups, prices, days and times, order types and channels, and starts Paused. Click it to rename it and change what you need, then switch it on.
Change several deals at once
- Tick the box at the start of each deal you want to change. Tick the box in the heading row to select every deal in the list.
- Choose Switch on, Pause or Delete.
Warning: Deleting deals can't be undone. To hide deals without losing them, pause them instead.
Back Office
Manage Promos and Deals
It is possible to manage Promos and Deals on three levels after you have created them at Company level.
Company
You may Enable / Disable them here at the highest level. Company: Management > Menu > Promos and Deals
Virtual Brands
You may Enable / Disable them at the Virtual Brands level to restrict which Deals apply to which Virtual Brands. Company: Management > Menu > Virtual Brands > Deals You may also override:
- Name - so it may be named something else in this Brand
Stores
When using a Company menu, you may wish still have your own Deals specific to your Store. Management > Menu > Promos and Deals
Note: Any Deals created here would be in addition to the ones you have at Company level.
