How do I add 3rd party orders to the POS?

Last verified: 2026-03-06

We have made entering orders from 3rd parties as easy as possible.  Although it may take 30 seconds to enter an order, doing this has many benefits, like managing the orders in the kitchen and delivering them exactly as you would your own orders.  Also there is detailed reporting on them allowing you track how effective each order source is and what it costs you.

Note you may automate this process by using our integration with Deliverect.

Back office

Setup>POS>Order Sources > Select the Order Source >Edit > Save

For orders sources like Just Eat who only provide the orders and not the drivers

Restrict Price List to - None (Just Eat now allow you to charge the same price as your delivery menu)

Credit Payments - Yes (As they take payments on your behalf)

Own Drivers  - No

For orders sources like Deliveroo and Uber Eats who provide the orders AND the drivers

When creating a Customer Order for Delivery or Collection > Select the order source icon e.g Just Eat and complete the order as usual.

However, on the Payment popup select > Credit  - if the order has been paid already.

For orders sources like Deliveroo and Uber Eats who provide the orders AND the drivers

Either restart the POS App or place a dummy order and void it. Now you should see a small Scooter next to the 'Take Away' button.

Selecting this shows the order sources that have their own drivers. Terminal below has 'Deliveroo' enabled as an order source.

Now type in their Order ID > Select the Deliveroo icon > Enter the order details as usual > On the Payment popup select > Credit  - as the order has been paid already.
