Receiving orders in the order hub

When a customer places an order, it is sent to the back office which will then send it to the order hub. The hub will sound an alert and show a red notification to show that you have received an order, which will have the default status as "In kitchen". It also shows:

  • the delivery timer - time left till order should be delivered
  • status - what state of preparation the order is at
  • order number - to easily track orders
  • delivery or collection - car for delivery, blank for collection

An order can be split into 3 categories:

  • Pending
  • Future
  • Done

Managing Collection Orders

  1. When a collection order is received it will appear in the order tab with status "in kitchen". The collection timer will appear as well (which is set at 15 mins by default and can be changed from the back office.)
  2. When the order has been prepared, select the order and then press the Ready pop up. The status will change to "ready to collect".
  3. When the customer has collected the order, select the order again and press the Collected pop up. The order will now move into the "done" tab.

| To print a receipt for an order, click on the order number and then press print now on the bottom left corner

Managing Delivery Orders

  1. When a delivery order is received it will appear in the order tab with status "in kitchen".
  2. After you have prepared the order, click on the order, and click "Ready" on the pop up that appears. This will change the status of the order to "ready to dispatch".
