Default option values (ingredients)

Prerequisites

POS and back office setup with existing menu 

User Story

I want to add Vanilla(option value) gelato (options) to my Waffles (product) on the menu.

Back Office

Create an option

1. Management > Menu > Categories > Options

2. Click on +New option

3. Populate the New option fields

4. Now 'Save'

5. Select Menu > Option values

6. Click +New Option Value

7. Now complete option value settings. Select the option name it is attached to. (ie. Gelato)

8. Now 'Save'

9. Now to add option value to product, 

10. Management > Menu > Products

11. Select the product you'd like to amend > Edit

12. On the 'Edit Product' screen, select the 'Options' tab.

13. Click on the '+' left of the Toppings[Screenshot needed]

14. Toggling the Default from Yes / No will set it as required.

15. Toggling the Substitute from Yes / No will allow the user to be able to substitute a default option to another like Vanilla and replace it with Strawberry free of charge.

16. Click 'Update' to save changes.

To see default options on the POS

10. If the default options are to appear on the POS order tab then 

Back Office

Setup > POS > Receipts

11. Click 'Update'

Finally

POS: Remember to Sync terminal in order to apply changes in back office
