What this report shows
The Automated Marketing report tells you how your automated coupon campaigns are performing — how many coupons went out, how many were redeemed, and how much revenue they brought back.
To open it, go to Reports > Online Reports > Automated Marketing. You can view it for a single store (select the store in the switcher) or for your whole company (no store selected).
Note: Use the date range picker at the top to change the period. Every figure on the page reflects the dates you choose.
The headline figures
At the top you'll see your key numbers for the selected period:
- Revenue Generated — sales from orders where an automated marketing coupon was redeemed.
- Coupons Redeemed — how many coupons customers actually used.
- Redemption Rate — the percentage of delivered coupons that were redeemed.
- Coupons Sent and Customers Re-engaged — your reach for the period.
- ROI — how much you earned back for every £1 of cost.
Channel Performance (Push vs SMS)
Automated marketing reaches your customers in two ways:
- Push notification — a free message sent straight to the MyFoodFast app on the phones of customers who have it installed.
- SMS — a text message, used automatically when a customer doesn't have the app.
The Channel Performance section breaks your campaign down by these two channels so you can see each one working:
- Sent — how many messages were attempted on that channel.
- Delivered — how many actually reached the customer (with the delivery rate underneath).
- Redeemed — how many of those led to a redeemed coupon (with the redemption rate underneath).
- Revenue — the sales those redemptions brought back.
Note: Pushes are always tried first for customers who have the app, falling back to SMS for everyone else. Because push notifications are free, every order that comes back through the push channel is reach you didn't pay for.
This section only appears once there has been automated marketing activity in the selected period, and it covers activity from the point push/SMS tracking went live. It is shown in addition to your existing headline figures, which are unchanged.
