A delivery service charge is an additional fee added to every home-delivery order. You configure it in the Back Office and then sync the change to your POS.
Set a delivery service charge
- Log in to the Back Office.
- Navigate to Setup > Online Ordering > Home Delivery.
- Locate the Delivery Service Charges option.
- Set it to Yes to enable the charge.
- Enter the service charge amount you want to apply.
- Click Update All to save the changes.
Note: If you use delivery zones, you can set different service charge amounts per zone. Review each zone under Setup > Online Ordering > Home Delivery > Delivery Zones to configure zone-specific charges.
Sync the changes to the POS
- Open MyOrderBox POS on your terminal.
- Go to Settings > Sync.
- Wait for the sync to complete before taking new orders.
The delivery service charge will now appear as a separate line item on delivery orders.
