POS and KDS running with the same build
The KDS has a number of settings that can be switched ON or OFF to achieve a desirable effect.
KDS LOCAL SETTINGS
Appearance Settings
Column / Row Count
The number of order card columns and rows can be set, simply by selecting from the drop down number.
- Column count range is from 2-10
- Row count range is from 1-4
Card Font
Controls the font size used in the order cards

Bump Orders -Itemised bumping
- 'No' - allows itemised bumping
- 'Yes' - whole order bumping
Order Notification
When an order is received by the KDS
- 'Beep' - will make an audible beep sound
- 'None' - no sound will be heard.
Display Settings
On Order Touch -
- 'Prepare' - sets the order to require a double bump. 1st bump sets order to 'preparing' and the card goes orange. 2nd bump turns the card to green and bumps the order from the KDS.
Bump- When set turns the card to green and bumps the order from the KDS with a single Bump
The Track screen on POS then displays the order as 'Ready to collect' for collection orders and 'Ready to dispatch' for delivery orders.
BACK OFFICE Settings
The Kitchen displays are activated via setup from the back office.

Orders Notes on KDS
Order notes can be enabled in the back office by switching the feature YES or NO. If enabled, notes sent via Web / POS orders are displayed on KDS.

Kitchen send time
The kitchen send time controls when a DELIVERY order is sent to kitchen. This will be reflected on the KDS as well as the Kitchen printer.

Show default option values
If you would like to show options that are set as default for a product then this should be enabled. This will be reflected on POS Order Tab, all Kitchen & Dispatch receipts and KDS.

For example, the Pizza Capricciosa has the following default option values

When added to the order tab and sent to KDS all the default option values will appear in an orange font.

Show Attributes before Products
If you would like to display the attribute (i.e pizza size, pizza type) enable this. This will be reflected on POS Order Tab, all Kitchen & Dispatch receipts and KDS
