Delivery Map Troubleshooting

The delivery map shows the location of the store, the customer, and your current position during a delivery. If the map isn't displaying correctly, follow the steps below.

Map Showing a Blank or Empty Screen

If the map appears blank or shows only ocean/water, this usually means the app could not determine your location or the delivery address.

Check Your Location Permissions

  1. Open your phone's Settings
  2. Go to Apps > Driver App > Permissions
  3. Make sure Location is set to Allow all the time or Allow while using the app
  4. Return to the Driver App and try again

Make Sure Location Services Are Enabled

  1. Open your phone's Settings
  2. Go to Location (or Privacy > Location Services on iOS)
  3. Ensure location services are turned on
  4. Open the Driver App — the map should now show your current position

Check Your Internet Connection

The map loads tiles from the internet. If your connection is slow or unavailable:

  1. Check that you have mobile data or Wi-Fi enabled
  2. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data
  3. Move to an area with better signal if needed

Map Not Showing All Pins

The map displays up to three pins:

  • Your location — your current GPS position
  • Store pin — the restaurant or store location
  • Customer pin — the delivery address

If any of these pins are missing, it means the app does not have valid coordinates for that location. The map will automatically zoom to fit all available pins.

Note: If the customer's delivery address was entered without a valid postcode or location, the customer pin may not appear. Contact your manager if this happens frequently.

Map Stuck on Wrong Location

If the map is showing the wrong area, tap the GPS button (bottom-right corner of the map) to re-centre the map and fit all delivery pins into view.

Still Having Issues?

If the map continues to show a blank screen after trying the steps above, try the following:

  1. Close the Driver App completely and reopen it
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Check for app updates in the App Store or Google Play

If the problem persists, contact your store manager or support team for assistance.
