You may want to restrict the sale of particular items, e.g, alcohol, to only being bought with other food items.
Back Office
- Management > Menu > Menu Setup > Edit Category > Allow if min. spend > Enter a value
- This value will be the minimum amount of spend on other categories to allow items from this category to be ordered
- Tip Description - You can only order these items if you spend over £10 on food.
Online Ordering site
- Add [Alcohol] exclusively to cart > Proceed to checkout > Place order > Validation check > Show message "[Category] can only be ordered with a min. spend of [£10] on other items"
- Customer will be shown this message and will not be able to place the order until he adds more items from other categories that exceed the minimum spend.
