The steps are still correct, but the interface may look slightly different in the latest version.

You may want to restrict the sale of particular items, e.g, alcohol, to only being bought with other food items.

Back Office

  • Management > Menu > Menu Setup > Edit Category > Allow if min. spend > Enter a value
  • This value will be the minimum amount of spend on other categories to allow items from this category to be ordered
  • Tip Description - You can only order these items if you spend over £10 on food.

Online Ordering site

  • Add [Alcohol] exclusively to cart > Proceed to checkout > Place order > Validation check > Show message "[Category] can only be ordered with a min. spend of [£10] on other items"
  • Customer will be shown this message and will not be able to place the order until he adds more items from other categories that exceed the minimum spend.
