The steps are still correct, but the interface may look slightly different in the latest version.

If multiple people have access to your Back Office, it is important to keep track of who is making changes. The activity log lets you audit user actions so you can see what was changed, when, and by whom.

Steps to view user activity

  1. Log in to the Back Office with an administrator account.
  2. Navigate to Settings from the left-hand menu.
  3. Select Activity Log (or User Activity, depending on your version).
  4. You will see a list of recent actions performed by all users on the account.

Understanding the activity log

Each entry in the log typically includes:

  • User -- the name or email of the person who performed the action.
  • Action -- what was done (e.g. menu item updated, order refunded, user added).
  • Date and time -- when the action took place.
  • Details -- additional context about the change where available.

Filtering the log

  • Use the date range filter to focus on a specific period.
  • Filter by user to see only the actions of a particular team member.
  • Filter by action type if you are looking for a specific kind of change.

Note: Only users with administrator-level access can view the full activity log. Standard users may have limited or no access to this feature.

Why monitoring matters

Regularly reviewing the activity log helps you:

  • Spot unauthorised or accidental changes to your menu or settings.
  • Keep a record for accountability when multiple staff members share access.
  • Investigate issues by tracing back to the exact change that caused a problem.
