Put the dispatch console on a wall TV

The live dispatch console — your delivery orders, drivers and map — can run full-screen on a wall TV without anyone logging in on it. You register the screen once with a PIN, like a kitchen display.

Note: The dispatch console requires the Delivery Dashboard add-on. Contact support if your store doesn't have it yet.

Register a TV

  1. In Back Office, go to Setup > In-Store > Dispatch Displays at Store level (with a store selected in the switcher).
  2. Click Add Display and give the screen a name (for example "Kitchen Wall TV"). A 6-digit PIN appears in the list.
  3. On the TV's browser, open go.myorderboxhq.com/v2/public/dispatch_tv.
  4. Enter the PIN and press Register this screen.

The TV immediately shows the live dispatch console for your store and stays connected — no login, no session timeouts.

Note: PINs work once and expire after 15 minutes. If it lapses before you get to the TV, click the key icon next to the display to generate a fresh one.

Managing screens

Back on Setup > In-Store > Dispatch Displays:

  • Generate new PIN (key icon) — moves the registration to a different TV. The old screen is disconnected the moment you generate the new PIN.
  • Deactivate (power icon) — disconnects the TV immediately. It drops back to the PIN screen.
  • Delete — removes the display entirely and disconnects it.

Why not just leave the console open on a TV?

You can — but that means an admin login session sitting on a screen everyone can see and touch. A registered dispatch display can only view dispatch data for its own store; it can't open reports, settings or anything else in Back Office, and you can cut it off from the office with one click.
