Under GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), you have a "right of erasure" -- the right to request that your personal data be permanently deleted. MyOrderBox / MyFoodFast will process account deletion requests in accordance with this regulation.
How to request account deletion
- Send an email to help@myorderboxhq.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Include the following information in your email:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- The name of the restaurant(s) you have ordered from (if applicable)
- Alternatively, contact the restaurant you ordered from directly and ask them to submit the deletion request on your behalf.
What happens when your account is deleted
- Your user profile and personal details (name, email, phone number, address) will be permanently removed.
- Your order history will be anonymised and will no longer be linked to your identity.
- Any saved payment methods will be removed.
- This action is irreversible -- once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
Note: We are required to retain certain transaction records for legal and tax compliance purposes. These records will be anonymised so that they cannot be traced back to you.
Processing time
Account deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days of receipt, in line with GDPR requirements. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been erased.
