Add a driver with a name and mobile number
You no longer need to create an email and password for your delivery drivers. Add them with just their name and mobile number, and they sign in to the MyFoodFast Driver app with a 6-digit code sent by text message.
Drivers added this way can only use the driver app — they have no email or password, so they cannot log in to your Back Office.
Adding a driver
- Go to Management > Staff > Staff List.
- Click Add Staff.
- Enter the driver's First Name and Last Name.
- Choose the driver role.
- Enter the driver's Mobile number. This is required — it's where their sign-in code is sent.
- Leave Email and Password blank.
- Click Save.
The driver immediately receives a text message like:
Your MyFoodFast Driver code: 483920
What the driver does
- Install the MyFoodFast Driver app.
- Open the app and enter the 6-digit code from the text message.
- That's it — they stay signed in permanently.
Note: Each code works once and expires after 24 hours. If the code has expired, send a new one (see below).
Driver got a new phone, or lost their code?
- Go to Management > Staff > Staff List.
- Find the driver, open the ⋯ actions menu, and choose Send App Code.
- Confirm. The driver receives a fresh code by text.
Note: Sending a new code also signs the driver out of any phone they were previously signed in on. This keeps a lost or stolen phone from staying connected.
When a driver leaves
Open the driver in Management > Staff > Staff List and either:
- Turn off the Enabled toggle in their profile (keeps their records), or
- Delete them from the actions menu.
Both immediately revoke the driver app's access on their phone.
Drivers with email accounts
Existing drivers who sign in with an email and password can keep doing so — nothing changes for them. You can also still create drivers with an email and password if you prefer; the SMS code is simply the faster option.
