How to enable gift card payment on POS

Gift card payments allow customers to pay for orders using a prepaid gift card. You need to enable this payment method on the POS before it becomes available at checkout.

Enable gift card payments on the POS

1. Open MyOrderBox POS on your terminal.
2. Go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Payments.
3. Find the Gift Card option and toggle it to Enabled.
4. Tap Save to confirm the change.

Accept a gift card payment

1. Create an order as normal on the POS.
2. Tap Pay to open the payment screen.
3. Select Gift Card from the list of payment methods.
4. Enter the gift card number or scan the card barcode.
5. The system will apply the available balance to the order.
6. If the gift card balance does not cover the full amount, you can split the remaining balance across another payment method (e.g. cash or card).

Note: Gift card management, including issuing new cards and checking balances, can be configured in the Back Office under Setup > Payments. Contact MyOrderBox support if you need help setting up gift card integration for the first time.
