Preparation and Delivery times

The steps are still correct, but the interface may look slightly different in the latest version.

The Preparation and Delivery are an important setting that is used throughput the platforms, to not only show the current Pickup and Delivery times on the online ordering platforms, but also to calculate the due times for every order that is created, regardless of the source.

Back Office

The Delivery and Preparation times can be set in the Back Office at Store level.

Delivery

Store: Setup > Online Ordering > Delivery > Settings > Delivery Time (minutes)

Collection

** Store: Setup > **Online Ordering >Collection > Preparation Time (minutes) **

MyFoodFast POS

MyOrderBox POS

Go to the POS (Receiving Online Orders) > Settings > Quick Settings > Offer Collection (Set time) | Offer Delivery (Set time) > Update

To switch off ordering online at busy periods you can turn off Collection or Delivery by switching either or both to No > Update..

To turn back on simply return to Yes > Update.

| Note this will disable online ordering for that Order Type on the menu page, not the homepage, and show a message saying " Sorry the store is not currently taking [Delivery][Collection] orders. Should be back up shortly."**


Alerts

It is possible to alert individuals, other than the store Admin who is included by default, by email to notify of any such changes.

Simply log into the Store > Setup > Add Ons > Email : Add your email address to the CC emails tab.

This will now send an email whenever :

  • When Delivery / Collection is turned on/off on POS or Back Office

  • When Delivery / Prep Times are changed on POS or Back Office
