Setup AnyDesk on POS / KDS Terminal

In order to provide support remotely we must have access to the POS Terminal. Installing this software should only take a minute.

If using your own hardware

  1. Download the installer (anydesk.exe) here: AnyDesk MyOrderBox

| You can type this address in Chrome: https://get.anydesk.com/3nLDknqI/AnyDesk_Custom_Client.exe | The case does not matter so you can type it all in lower case ||| Use this url and do not download the generic Anydesk from their site.

  1. Click on ‘Install AnyDesk on this computer’

If using your hardware provided by MyOrderBox

There should be a blue AnyDesk icon the desktop. In this case:

  1.    In Windows Search box type either
  • C:\ProgramData\AnyDesk
  • %programdata%\AnyDesk
  1.    Then delete the file * service.conf 
  2.    Restart Windows Operating system and open AnyDesk on restart
  3.    The ID should change now

Once installed

  • Take a picture of the ‘AnyDesk-Address:’ and share that with us on (support@myorderboxhq.com),
  • In the windows task bar you will see the blue AnyDesk icon, right click and select pin to taskbar
  • The installation is now complete.
